Which Breast Implant Size is Right For Me?
Serving Chicago, Illinois
The right breast size for your body type is not the same across the board. There is no magic formula that calculates your comfortable and ideal size. When considering what size breast implant is a good fit, remember that the more natural you look, the more likely other people are to believe they are your actual breasts. The key to achieving this natural look is to keep your breast size proportional to your body frame.
The Two-cup Size Enhancement
Most surgeons agree that the right breast implant size is not more than two cup sizes over your natural breast size. By doing this, you will still appear natural, and because the change is more subtle, it will be more easily accepted.
Finding Your Perfect Size
One way find the breast size right for you is to try on different size implants under your normal clothes to get an idea of what you want to achieve. If you're unable to try on the actual implants, you can try on different size bras and fill the space with ziplock bags filled with rice to help you decide.
Photographs of your desired result can also help, as can before and after pictures of another person's augmentation.
The most common choice cups are in the small C to full D range. If you choose extremely large breasts, you are more likely to become uncomfortable with your implants; it can even lead to a loss of sexual sensation. When you choose the right breast implant size, you'll not only look voluptuous, but you'll feel it. This increased confidence will give you an enhanced sex appeal.
Factors
There are many factors to consider when choosing your breast enlargement size. Three key things to consider are; personality, shape and age.
Personality
You should carefully consider your personality type and how you will accept the change in attitudes from both men and women following your surgery. If you've had small breasts all your life, and suddenly you advance to a D cup, your breasts are likely to become center stage. Men may react more to you, which you may or may not be comfortable with. Chat with other women who have underwent breast augmentation surgery to understand their viewpoints and how they were treated before and after surgery.
Shape
If you have a larger frame, you are more equipped to handle large breasts. The larger your implants are, the heavier they will be and the more stress they will place on your back. The smaller your frame is, the less weight upfront you will be able to comfortably carry. Keep in mind that the same breast implant size will not look the same on women of different builds. If you are thin around the middle, a C cup will stand out, but if you are thicker in your midriff, a C cup may be barely noticeable.
Age
As you age, the size of your breasts will change. For example, after you give birth, your breasts may begin to sag, after they enlarged during pregnancy. Even with implants, they may not look like they once did. If you are younger and plan to have children, you should select an implant position that will allow you to breastfeed if that is your intention. A breast lift along with breast implants is an options to help your breast look as they once did before pregnancy or rapid weight loss.
But the most important thing is that you are happy and comfortable with the way your implants look and feel.
